During the #GEOweek event in Cape Town in which our company Geosystems-Hellas participated, the POTATO2UP project was at the centre of the discussion, highlighting the current perspectives and challenges in the agricultural sector.
Betty Charalampopoulou, Director of EARSC and CEO of GEOSYSTEMS-HELLAS S.A., presented the POTATO2UP project, which aims to develop a more efficient way of growing potatoes. This initiative added an agricultural dimension to the discussion, contributing with valuable insights to address the challenges related to innovative farming practices.
The event brought together European and international initiatives, highlighting the importance of monitoring climate change, biodiversity loss and developments in sustainable agriculture, with a particular focus on the innovative approaches introduced by the POTATO2UP project.
